During my trip I planned to attend The Study, an all girls' school run in English; however, upon my arrival I was shocked to find teachers and students swiftly rambling amongst themselves in French. Fortunately, I soon discovered that a great population of Montreal is bilingual in both French and English, making it possible to converse and befriend class mates while occasionally practising my French. I became acquainted with girls from Turkey, Spain, Jamaica and more, exemplifying Montreal's multiculturalism.
